Children sew
WhAT
The first lesson is an introduction to the sewing machine: you'll learn the basic stitches and how to use your machine correctly. You'll practice sewing in a straight line. And you'll learn what you need to bring to the following lessons.
Possibilities include a simple purse, skirts, blouses, trousers, nightdress for the girls, or a range of t-shirts, shorts,… for boys
From the second lesson, we assume that you can work with the machine, thus you can work at your own pace and you don't need to come every week
Who
Girls and boys between 8 and 14 who wish to sew their own clothes
When
Wednesdays, 14, 28 Sept., 12, 26 Oct, 9, 23 Nov., 7, 21 Dec., 1pm - 2:30pm.

17 euro for one lesson, all materials included
Registration
Required. Minimum 4 and maximum 8 children. How to register?
What to bring
Your own sewing machine (or borrow one) if possible. If this is not possible, I have two sewing machines in the atelier that can be shared. If you want to use your own sewing machine but transport is difficult, you can leave it in the atelier.
For the first lesson: the manual for your machine, needles to stitch, sewing thread.
